Vicki Ford-Morrison has become a favorite of those who enjoy the challenge of working on dimensional stained glass projects. Her two "Stained Glass Village" books have been a motivation for many who have admired and enjoyed vIllages in other mediums to build their very own displays. She was encouraged to share her expertise after her original village was featured in "Reminisce" magazine.

Vicki's follow-up pattern book, "For The Birds", was at the head of the parade in the current popularity of decorative bird houses and bird feeders. This collection includes architectural styles to suit every bird's fancy. And, people have been enjoying them too!

Participation in a class several years ago introduced Vicki to the world of stained glass. Since she has always had an interest in architecture, it was only fitting that she should start building houses out of glass. She enjoys exploring old homes and taking photographs of the unusual houses she finds in her travels.

She and her husband have lived in Arizona since 1964. When she is not enjoying time with her family, she is busy designing and building stained glass houses. Many people have given her pictures of the houses that are important to their history, asking her to reproduce them in glass. Helping them preserve those personal memories has proven to be a real joy for Vicki.
